We just got word that Adam Lockert is undergoing surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30am to repair a shunt in his head.  As you might imagine, this is a very serious procedure and Adam needs our prayers. Please remember all the Lockert family, pray for the doctors, and pray for Adam’s speedy recovery.

Starting in October we will be offering 3 new discipleship classes on Sunday nights. These classes are designed to deepen your walk with God and encourage spiritual maturity in the life of 24 church.  The classes will start at 6:00pm each Sunday night and last for 8 weeks.  There is a minimal cost involved with each class to help pay for materials. 

Starting Point is a class designed for newer believers or people who have been out of church for a while. This class is designed to allow a lot of discussion and questions. This class will be led by Mark and Gina Hollingsworth.

Doctrine is a class that will introduce the concepts of basic theology.  Terms such as sanctification, redemption, soteriology, etc. will be explained and defined.  This class will be led by Ben Adkison.

Finance is a class that will cover the basics of smart financial planning and the biblical teachings about money.  This class is being taught by Stephen Horn, a professional financial planner.  

We are hoping to have childcare provided for these classes, but it is still in the works.  If you’d like to sign-up there are sign-up sheets in the lobby at church.  You can also email Ben Adkison to sign-up or if you have questions.
