If you’re interested in getting baptized as a part of Plunge, sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby of church.  Plunge is not only a baptism, but also a time of fellowship and picnic (including swimming).  Additional details are forthcoming, but we hope to see you all there!

24Kids Promotion Sunday

Sunday August 8 will be Promotion Sunday!  If you have a child in the Star Room (4-5’s) that is entering Kindergarten this school year, this is the week that they will move up to Kids Church!  Also, if you have a child entering 5th grade, this is the Sunday that they can move up from Kids Church to FUEL Students (5th grade students have the choice of either 24Kids or FUEL based on their development and readiness.)  More details on this BIG day to come!  If you have any questions, you can email Ben.Adkison@24Church.com.

Beginning on Wednesday August 11, FUEL moves from Sunday night to Wednesday!  More details to come…

For the 3rd year in a row, 24Church will be helping to meet the needs of dozens of children in Cheatham County to get back to school with the supplies they need.  If you have school aged children you know just how expensive it can be to start school (supplies, clothes, etc.)  This Sunday, check out the Welcome Center and pick up a list needed school supplies and help us to provide backpacks and supplies for the kids in our community that would normally have to go without.  For more information on the Backpack program and Back-to-School, email Carol.Kulick@24Church.com.

Next Sunday – July 25

24Church will be holding its first ever Ice Cream Smackdown!  Do you make your own homemade ice cream?  Do you want to come and hang out with some awesome people and try out more awesome ice cream?  Do you want to walk away with bragging rights as the Ice Cream Smackdown Champion?  Come on out to the church on the 25th with your tub of ice cream and put it up against others!  Even if you don’t make your own ice cream but either really really like ice cream or just want to hang out with others, please come on down!  For more information, email Sherry.Wright@24Church.com.

On July 13th 2010 we will be having our second College Summer Shindig. We will be meeting at Chris and Erin Royalty’s house off exit 31 at 6:30pm and then will be headed to Nashville for dinner at SATCO (That’s San Antonio Taco Company for those of you not ‘in the know’) and then have a fun night in Nashville.
